An Upper-Floor Village House
House Kalliopi is a first-floor stone house in Mavrikiano, positioned above House Efterpi and reached by its own private entrance. It accommodates up to four guests and suits couples or small parties who want a traditional village house with a balcony, internal stairs, and views toward the inner part of the village and the surrounding mountains.
The Interior Layout
The 55 m2 house is arranged around a compact traditional layout. From the village road, guests enter through a wooden gate and climb stone stairs to the balcony, where the private entrance to the house is located.
On entering the house, the mini kitchen and wooden table are directly ahead, with a window on the left bringing natural light into the space. To the right is the living area with the fireplace and two built-in single stone beds.
An internal wooden stair leads up to the ontas, the traditional raised sleeping area, which forms the main bedroom area. The bathroom is below the ontas, on the same level as the living room.
Balcony And View
The balcony looks toward the inner part of Mavrikiano village and the surrounding mountains. It is a small outdoor sitting area rather than a large dining terrace.
Access And Pairing
Shared private guest parking is nearby, with space for up to 5 cars in total; if the shared parking area is full, guests can usually park for free around the village. The house is not step-free, and guests should expect stone stairs to reach the first-floor entrance. Kalliopi can be considered with House Efterpi below for larger groups that want nearby but separate houses.
