Elounda Traditional Homes is more than a collection of properties; it is a long-term project in architectural preservation. Since 1994, our family has worked to breathe new life into the historic ruins of Mavrikiano and Vrouchas.
The Architecture
We maintain original stone construction and traditional layouts, ensuring the soul of the home remains intact while adding modern comforts.
The Experience
Our aim is a straightforward experience: stay in a real village, away from resort infrastructure, where the sea is your backdrop.
The ten houses in Mavrikiano have been individually restored over several years. We focused on keeping the original stone walls and traditional wood beams while integrating high-speed Wi-Fi, functional kitchens, and premium bedding.
Our signature property, Villa Almyra in Vrouchas, represents the pinnacle of our collection. It offers a four-bedroom sanctuary on the hillside with panoramic views over Mirabello Bay and the historic island of Spinalonga.
