A Village House With Private Pool
House Erato is a one-bedroom traditional stone house in Mavrikiano with its own private pool terrace. It accommodates up to four guests and suits couples, small families, or close friends who want a compact village house with authentic stone interiors and private outdoor space.
The Interior Layout
The 55 m² house is arranged over connected levels with internal stairs. On entering the house, there is a built-in single stone bed on the right, a small kitchen on the left, and another built-in single stone bed nearby.
Ahead is the living area, centred around a fireplace. Built-in stone sitting areas sit to the left and right of the fireplace, with a round wooden table between them. The bathroom is reached from the left side of the living room.
Above the main living space is the ontas — the traditional raised sleeping area — reached by an internal stair. This upper level forms the main bedroom area.
Pool Terrace
Erato is not only about the private pool. The house combines traditional stone architecture, authentic interior details, and a quiet village setting in Mavrikiano.
Outside, the private pool terrace includes the pool, two round kafeneion-style tables, outdoor seating, and a built-in barbecue. The setting feels calm and village-based, with views toward the mountains and olive groves.
Access And Pairing
Shared private guest parking is about 10 m away, with space for up to 5 cars in total; if the shared parking area is full, guests can usually park for free around the village. The entrance is reached by stairs down, so the house is not step-free. House Clio sits above Erato and has views toward the pool area, but it does not include pool access when booked separately. When Erato and Clio are booked together, the pool can function as part of the combined stay.
