Perched above the shimmering waters of Elounda Bay, the villages of Mavrikiano and Vrouchas have stood for centuries. Our family has spent over three decades restoring the original stone houses of these villages — preserving thick walls, arched doorways, and courtyard gardens while adding the comforts a modern traveller expects.
What Makes Us Different
These are not purpose-built holiday rentals. Each house began as a genuine village home, some dating back to the early 1900s. When you stay here, you live inside the village — among neighbours, cats on warm steps, and church bells marking the hours.
The Elounda Area
The region offers far more than beaches (though there are plenty). Within minutes you can reach the Venetian fortress island of Spinalonga, the submerged ruins of ancient Olous, and the lively harbour town of Agios Nikolaos.
